Hennepin United Methodist Church

History of the Church

The church's story begins in 1835, with a modest, $400 building. From then on, the church has grown and evolved, getting renovations in the 1860s, 1920s, and early 2000s.

The church has hosted a plethora of events and activities over the years. For example, it has hosted parades, give-aways, cookie walks, Vacation Bible School, and even pet blessings!

The Hennepin United Methodist Church has been a cornerstone of Hennepin for over 160 years, providing a place for worship, prayer, and service.
